After making it through with 16 stars out of 20. The next round saw Ryan perform 3 tracks with the Kaiser Chiefs. 

"One of the most surreal things ever. I grew up listening to the Kaiser Chiefs, so to have the chance to meet, work and perform with them was incredible and something I'll cherish forever.”

The live finals saw Ryan's band 'Drive' perform a medley of "I love rock and roll & Everybody get up". 

"I worked so hard for this performance and gave it everything I had out there. It was great to tackle the leading vocals on such an iconic rock song.”

Ryan's first audition on Let It Shine performing the song "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" - U2. 

"I absolutely loved performing this. It was an amazing achievement to get on stage and sing in front of the judges and audience. Very strange not playing guitar!”

Finalising his place in the Live Shows saw all 5 bands compete in a riff off expressing both dancing and vocal talents. 

"This was so different to anything I had ever done. But being able to work with Martin Kemp and perform with the band was great.”
